“Economies of Small, or the Location of Capital” was an intermittent studio installation where breeding silkworms, growing and cloning fruits and vegetables, and producing silk on custom-made weaving looms were made in the same studio space.

The body of research was an intermittent process of breeding silkworms to model localized economies, investigate memory seriations in fiber, and interpret silk protein as a time-based, photographic medium.
